Sheet metal is thin flat metal cut and or formed into a variety of different shapes. It is one of the fundamental processes used in metal working. Countless everyday objects are constructed by these processes. Thicknesses can vary significantly although extremely thin materials are considered foil or leaf and pieces thicker than 6mm (.25 inch) are considered plate.

Welding

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used in industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut.
